Complete Steel Structure House Design Required I am looking for an experienced architect and structural engineer with expertise in steel structure residential buildings to design a complete two-story house. The project must be fully engineered and ready for factory fabrication and on-site construction. Project Information * Building dimensions: 5,400 mm × 7,200 mm * Number of floors: 2 * Structural system: Steel Frame Structure * Ground floor height: 3,700 mm * First floor height: 2,400 mm ⸻ Ground Floor * Open-plan living room. * Open kitchen. * One bathroom. * The front section of the living room should have a double-height ceiling, extending to the roof, as shown in the reference images. ⸻ First Floor * One master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. * One standard bedroom. * A hallway overlooking the double-height living area. ⸻ Architectural Design The architectural design shall include: * Floor plans. * Elevations. * Sections. * Architectural details. * A modern exterior design that closely follows the provided reference images. ⸻ Structural Design The structural design shall include: * Complete steel frame design. * Structural calculations. * Foundation design. * Anchor bolt details. * Steel connection details. * Minimize the number of steel columns while maintaining structural safety. * Base the design on the preliminary foundation and column layout that I will provide. * Interior walls are non-load-bearing and will be constructed later using Fiber Cement Board (Cement Board). ⸻ Fabrication Requirements The main objective is to fabricate the steel structure in a factory, ship it to Vietnam, and assemble it quickly on site. Therefore, the design must: * Be optimized for prefabrication. * Be suitable for container transportation. * Allow fast and efficient on-site assembly. * Include numbering for every steel member. * Include Assembly Drawings. * Include Fabrication Drawings. * Clearly show all steel connections. * Use bolted connections wherever practical to simplify installation. * Include a complete steel member schedule with dimensions, lengths, and quantities. ⸻ Exterior Facade * The front elevation will use an aluminum and glass curtain wall/window system. * The front steel column concept that I provide must be incorporated into the final design. * The remaining exterior walls may use lightweight wall systems compatible with steel-frame construction. ⸻ Roof * The roof design should closely match the provided reference images. * It must be practical and suitable for steel-frame construction. ⸻ Electrical and Plumbing Design Provide complete MEP drawings including: * Lighting layout. * Power outlets and switches. * Electrical panel layout. * Electrical conduit routing. * Water supply system. * Drainage and sewage system. * Coordination of all MEP services with the steel structure to avoid conflicts. ⸻ Required Deliverables 1. Architectural drawings. 2. Structural drawings. 3. Structural calculations. 4. Foundation drawings. 5. Steel fabrication drawings. 6. Steel connection details. 7. Assembly drawings. 8. Electrical drawings. 9. Plumbing and drainage drawings. 10. Bill of Quantities (BOQ). 11. DWG files. 12. PDF files. 13. Source files of the 3D models (if available). ⸻ 3D Models I require two separate 3D models: 1. Structural 3D Model This model should include only the steel structure, without walls or finishes. It must clearly show: * Steel columns. * Steel beams. * Roof framing. * Structural connections. * Overall steel assembly. This model will be used to review the structural system, fabrication, and assembly process. 2. Architectural 3D Model This model should represent the completed house after construction, including: * Aluminum and glass facade. * Exterior and interior walls. * Roof. * Doors and windows. * Interior and exterior finishes. * High-quality rendered views from multiple angles showing the final appearance of the house. Both 3D models must use the same structural frame and dimensions, with the architectural model built directly on the structural model. ⸻ Project Workflow The project shall be completed in four phases: Phase 1 * Architectural layout. * Space planning. * Exterior facade design. * Initial 3D concept. Phase 2 * Structural design. * Structural calculations. * Steel frame drawings. * Fabrication drawings. * Assembly drawings. Phase 3 * Electrical design. Phase 4 * Plumbing and drainage design. Each phase must be submitted for my review and approval before proceeding to the next phase. ⸻ Important Notes * I will provide reference images, the preliminary foundation layout, front column concept, and any additional information required. * If structural calculations require changing any steel member size or modifying the design, you must explain the reason and obtain my approval before making the change. * All drawings must be production-ready and suitable for direct factory fabrication without requiring major revisions. * Preference will be given to engineers with proven experience in steel-frame residential buildings and prefabricated construction. Please include examples of similar completed projects. * The final objective is to deliver a professional, fully coordinated design that is ready for factory fabrication, shipment to Vietnam, and fast on-site installation with high quality and efficiency.
