Project Goal We want to migrate our current distributed system environment to a centralized Odoo Enterprise setup. Several existing tools should either be fully replaced or seamlessly integrated with Odoo. This includes systems for CRM, purchasing, inventory, workshop operations, POS, HR and online bookings. ⸻ About Our Current Systems (Short Explanations) For context: • TriData A commercial ERP used in bicycle shops in German-speaking countries. It covers inventory, purchasing, sales, workshop orders, POS and basic CRM. Our goal: replace it entirely with Odoo. • VeloConnect / VeloAPI A supplier interface standard in the bicycle industry used for: • item and article data • live availability • automated purchase orders • order confirmations We require full integration into Odoo. • BIDEX A large industry-wide bicycle product database providing structured item data, variants, attributes, images, technical sheets. Our goal: use BIDEX as the foundation of our product master data in Odoo. • Zammad Our current ticketing system (migration desired). • UCS/Univention (LDAP) User directory (optional import/migration). • Nextcloud Will remain in use (no migration needed). ⸻ Required Odoo Modules & Functional Areas 1. CRM & Sales • Lead and opportunity management • Activity tracking & customer interaction history • Sales pipeline setup • Quotation → order → invoice workflow • Sales analytics and dashboards • Migration of relevant tickets from Zammad (if meaningful inside Odoo Helpdesk) 2. Purchasing / Inventory / Items • Supplier management • Purchase orders, planned delivery dates, receipts • Inventory with variants, serial numbers, min/max levels • Stock adjustments, inventory counts • Import of all historic TriData data • Full VeloConnect/VeloAPI integration (items, availability, purchase orders) • Item master data built on BIDEX datasets 3. Workshop / Service Department We require development or customization of a workshop module. The bicycle workshop is a core part of our business. Must include: • Workshop job sheets / work orders • “Arbeitswerte” (job value / defined work units for services) • Status workflow (accepted → in progress → ready for pickup) • Required parts and materials • Workshop calendar & scheduling • Technician assignment • Connections to sales and inventory 4. POS / Retail Checkout Mandatory for Austria: • Odoo POS with RKSV compliance (Austrian fiscal law) • Support for gift cards / vouchers • Integration with inventory and accounting 5. Online Shop / Web Frontend • Product catalog as “digital showroom” • Light commerce: • Customers can send purchase inquiries • Customers can request online consultation appointments • Online booking for: • workshop appointments • bike fittings • pick-ups • advisory appointments 6. Bicycle Industry Integrations (Critical) • Full VeloConnect / VeloAPI integration • Full BIDEX product data integration • Automatic synchronization preferred • Logging & mapping required 7. Finance / Accounting • Austrian localization • Import of historical documents and open items • Payments, reconciliation • Mandatory export to an external accounting software • Ideally BMD/Digitax • Custom export format acceptable if needed • Can be developed as an individual connector 8. HR / Workforce Management We want to fully integrate: • Employee records • Working time tracking • Vacation/sickness • Workforce scheduling / personnel planning 9. System Architecture & Hosting We need assistance deciding between: • Self-hosted (Proxmox LXC/KVM) • [login to view URL] Please evaluate both technically and economically. Documentation & Training • Short admin & user documentation • Remote training sessions 12.
