I have a folder of raw clips that needs to be shaped into a polished, engaging video. I’m looking for an editor who can handle the full workflow—tightening pacing, balancing audio, adding tasteful transitions or effects where they lift the story, and giving the footage a clean color pass. I’m flexible on style; whether it leans cinematic, vlog-like, or documentary depends on what you feel best suits the material, so bring your creative eye and suggestions. You may work in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve—just make sure the final render is a high-quality MP4 ready for online upload, and include the editable project file so I can make small tweaks later if needed. One round of revisions after the first cut will keep us aligned. Ideally I’d like to wrap this within a week, but let me know if you envision a different timeline once you see the footage.

We want someone who can bring fresh ideas, suggest what to post or film, and turn those ideas into clear briefs and strong content. This is a creative role, not mainly admin support. You should have a good eye for hotel visuals, understand videography, and be comfortable suggesting a direction without needing every step explained. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Plan content ideas for posts, reels, and short videos - Find interesting ways to show hotel spaces, details, and the guest experience - Create video briefs with hooks, shot lists, visual references, and editing direction - Help plan shoots and coordinate with people filming or editing the content - Draft captions and review content for visual quality and a consistent tone - Keep content tasks organized and flag missing assets or decisions - Bring fresh marketing ideas that fit a boutique hotel brand WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - A portfolio of social content or short-form videos, with a clear explanation of what you handled - Experience with videography or planning and directing video content - A strong eye for composition, lighting, styling, and visual storytelling - The ability to turn a rough idea into a practical content brief - Clear communication, reliable follow-through, and initiative - Hotel, travel, interiors, or lifestyle content experience is a plus HOURS Around 20 hours per week to start. We'll agree the schedule and priorities together. HOW TO APPLY Please send a short introduction, your weekly availability, and two or three relevant work examples explaining your contribution. Include one content idea you'd suggest for a boutique hotel. PAID TEST Shortlisted candidates may be invited to a small paid test using a sample brief: suggest three hotel content ideas and develop one into a short video concept with a hook, shot list, and caption.
